Role Summary

 

Metalenz is the leader in metasuface optical systems, designing and commercializing components using conventional microelectronics fabrication techniques.  We are a venture-backed team of scientists and engineers pioneering research, design, and engineering to transform optical systems.  We are partnering with our consumer electronics, automotive, and wellness customers to drastically advance end-user experiences through improved performance and functionality.

 

We are looking for an energetic candidate with a keen interest and experience in the full customer journey.  The successful candidate will be able to build up awareness of our brand, develop a deep knowledge of our target customers and partners, and help drive our digital campaign.  The complexity of this role offers a wide range of opportunities for growth – from journey mapping and digital analytics to creating and leading full digital strategies to optimize traffic and drive conversion.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Manage public communication, championing new ideas for creative engagement and recommending opportunities.

  • Develop a structured digital marketing process including lead generation and measurement of ROI.

  • Create and publish website content, press releases, videos, and case studies to promote brand awareness and support company thought leadership.

  • Lead all social media presence across Linkedin, Twitter, YouTube and other relevant platforms.

  • Monitor, track, and report on SEO KPI performance, industry updates, competitive and consumer behavior, as well as qualitative insights

  • Own the administration of our marketing platforms, e.g. webinar platforms, Google AdWords, and CRM, for the marketing team.

  • Coordinate with media outlets for journals/magazines publication and conference/speaking events

  • Generate collateral (e.g. PPT, graphic design) to hone messaging to key target audience.

  • Aid in customer and partner program management through customer journey.

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or related field 

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in digital marketing, preferably in a high tech environment

  • Self-motivation and desire build from the ground up; ready to carry the torch

  • A collaborator who can align cross-functional teams, both internal and external, to deliver highly coordinated campaigns

  • Strong communication skills (interpersonal, written and verbal)

  • Knowledge of digital marketing best practices (PPC, SEO, Email, Social)

  • Familiarity with WordPress and experience in optimizing landing pages and optimizing for customer engagement

  • Hands-on experience of various marketing and analytics tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, and CRM systems

  • Experience in setting up and optimizing paid media platforms, such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising/Bing Ads, and paid social media platforms.

  • Experience in the mobile, consumer electronics, or automotive markets is a plus but not required.
